Sometimes I really hate living in the country.

Someone cut the phone cables linking the rural phone exchange I'm on to the rest of the world yesterday. They're still working on it- which means my dialup connections last, on average, about five minutes.

Not much is getting done until they get it fixed- IF they fix it...

Dialup internet still VERY flaky. Average time from connect to timeout: about 90 SECONDS.

Going to raise hell tomorrow if it isn't fixed.
