DELAY CONVICTED.
He could get anything from five years' probation to 99 years imprisonment.
Of course he'll appeal- and if it goes through the state courts, where not a single non-Republican remains, he might get the conviction overturned. The prosecutors need to get this into the federal appeals system, where there's at least a chance that it'll be upheld.
But even so... rejoice, for today in Texas, for a change, it wasn't okay if a Republican did it.
