As a Libertarian, I'm in favor of deregulation as a rule.

As a moderate Libertarian, I'm not in favor of it to the point that corporations are allowed to exert monopoly power... yet that's what Verizon, AT&T, and other large telecom companies are trying to ram through Congress on a flood of lobby and PAC dollars.

Incidentally, when I take office as state representative after the November election, I will enter a bill into the legislature to mandate common carrier rules on all telecommunications companies and corporations operating within the state of Texas.

I don't like the idea of the big boys blocking access to WLP or to websites I frequent...
