Car Wreck Fallout Update...

Good news: Kelly Blue Book value of car: approx. $11000-$13000. Amount owed on vehicle: $11,400. If the machine is totalled out and we get Blue Book value, we're at least out from under the note.

Bad news: Phone call from body shop: "I'm going to have to call the adjuster out to determine if this car is a total loss. The estimate so far is about $7700." Meaning we might not get anywhere CLOSE to Blue Book value.

Worry, worry, worry.
