- 16:03:21: @DannyValentini Buttress = exterior prop on a wall to keep it from collapsing. Flying buttress= one of those, but hollow like an arch.
- 16:05:27: @DannyValentini Flying buttresses are used to relieve load coming down on a wall, like for stone-roofed cathederals. Also, gargoyle housing.
