OUCH - Overstreet Under Cash Hassles

Well, the Diamond check for Bootleg #11 finally arrived, and several YowCow donations FINALLY cleared.

I’ve paid $250 down on the money I owe the grands, and I’ve paid up to current WLP’s web hosting and transferred the domain registry to the folks who host the site. Knock on wood, WLP’s secure for at least another year- and with MUCH bigger bandwidth! Yay!

The thermometer reflects these changes in WLP’s financial status; we’ve still got a long way to go, and we still need your help in donations or orders, but the question is no longer WLP’s continued existence so much as WLP continuing to publish comics or produce Milkmaid.

Notice we have enough money now to make a down payment on Bootleg #12 (which goes to printers late this week), but NOT ENOUGH TO PAY IT OFF. We still need help to get it to ship out on time.

So keep donating/buying/being patient!

A couple days ago, doctorpinkerton, the leader of the coolest band you never heard of got back in contact with me after over two years. He was cool enough to send me a DVD!

The band is “Consortium of Genius,” the DVD collects virtually everything visual they had lying around after nearly ten years of playing New Orleans locations, and it’s truly silly and cheap. I love it.

They’re planning a Texas appearance or three come February; damn I hope I can make it.

If you like musical parody, cheesy humor and Sonic Mind Probes, check ‘em out. They’ve just released a new CD, so there’s no excuse.
