Updating Webcomics... How Far Have We Come?

Dragon Quest VIII is eating my productivity alive, and I didn't have much to spare.

Sat down this afternoon to catch up on webcomic updates (Chocolate Milkmaid, Stellar, and Misadventures of Chichi-chan), and noticed for the first time that today's Chichi-chan is the 50th regular strip.

Which isn't saying much at all, since it took more than two years to get there.

If I'd paid any attention to such things in advance, I might have arranged something special... but then, I wondered, what kind of benchmarks -should- I pay attention to? And how many comics, pages and strips, has WLP posted in two years of web comicking?

So I sat down to do the count:

CHOCOLATE MILKMAID - begun November 1, 2003
74 regular pages (counting 6-page omake), 9 guest pages, 83 pages total
889,166 hits as of today 6:40 PM

PETER IS THE WOLF
28 regular pages, 9 with different versions for general-audiences, 37 pages total
279,946 hits as of today 6:40 PM

MISADVENTURES OF CHICHI-CHAN - begun November 1, 2003
51 regular strips, 2 bonus strips, 37 guest pages, 90 strips total
596,237 hits as of today 6:40 PM

STELLAR - begun March 3, 2005
37 pages
149,247 hits as of today 6:40 PM

MAID ATTACK - begun November 1, 2003
79 pages
158,748 hits as of today 6:40 PM

SEX PUPPIES - begun November 1, 2003
76 strips plus two bonus pages
168,717 hits as of today 6:40 PM

SHADOWCHASERS - resumed October 1, 2005
5 pages, not counting 13 pre-existing
11,041 hits as of today 6:40 PM

That's a grand total of 409 comic pages posted, not counting any of the art in the Galleries or Fanart pages.

I didn't create all of it by any means, but I still feel a little bit of pride.
