Off for a Working Weekend...

Well, in the morning I take my grandmother to the doctor and on several other errands.

As soon as I get back, I throw a change of clothes in the carrysack and all my gaming stuff into a suitcase and head to Houston for OwlCon. Not that I'll be doing as much gaming as I'd like; I'm helping Russ cover his table as he catches up from Real Life induced printing delays. I'll be working all day and well into the night Saturday. (Midnight closing of the DR? I am going to be FRIED when I get home Sat. night... no, I'm not staying for Sunday, not unless Russ asks.)

In financial notes, I've put $1600 down on Bootleg #14. This leaves roughly $700 in the bank and about $300 in my pocket... and I have no idea how the auction sales will do. (At a bloody 25% commission they better do damn well, though...) It's going to be tight, and I'm going to have to borrow somewhere to pay this month's "screw you we're the tax people" sales tax audit payment, but it should balance out in the end.

After which I'll try to get some actual writing done. Or website reworking. Or something.

Oh- and just finished updating the cards for Sakura playtesting this evening. Trying out two major new game effects; hope I see James Kent at OwlCon and can find time and space for a playtest.
