I only wish I could do things like this in ways that produce money.

Inspired by this thread regarding a hypothetical Fitzgerald v. Wilde fight, I posted the following:

Next! on LITERARY DEATHMATCH! Fitzgerald versus Wilde in... the CAGE!

PLUS! Emily Dickinson versus Jane Austen- JELLO MATCH!

And in cross-gender tag team fighting- Charles Dickens and Lewis Carroll battle the BRONTE SISTERS!

And now we go RINGSIDE to our master of ceremonies, William Shakespeare!

"Good even, friends, and authors dead and gone;
Good gentles rise, and let us GET IT ON!"


My comments became the subject of this thread, and the resulting discussion spawned this new LJ community.

Of course, now I've opened the door for yet another invasion of the Ho'd, but all in all I'm pleased with the results.
