OvNoWriMo Day 15... wow.
Apr. 16th, 2006 12:19 amUp until about 9:30 PM, I had NO idea in the world what to write next. My mind was still hung up on the awful, awful five hundred last words from last night, and how those would need to be redone entirely into a much longer segment.
Then things flowed. A scene just opened itself up, and our heroine Sally manages through ignorance to win over the true loyalty of a lot of people. This not only gives her a glimpse of hope, it provides the first glimpse of the loyalty she'll need- the personal loyalty, not just the fear of Authority reprisal she's been running on thus far- to succeed in what she'll attempt before the end of the story.
Anyway, here's the stats.
Day 15/25
Daily quota: 3,620/2,000
Goal: 31,463/50,000
Have to attend a funeral for a family friend tomorrow; probably not so productive, but we'll see.
