I'm tired and have a ton of things to do- catch up on Internet stuff, update online store, put away con stock and Bootle 15 comics, inventory remaining shirts and put in replacement order for Archon, etc. etc. etc., so this report is going to be brief.

Picked up by starcat_jewel Wednesday afternoon, went to Houston. Transferred stuff to Russ's Ford Escort. Up and out by 8 AM Thursday to swing over to San Antonio, pick up Bootleg #15, buy various supplies that have run out for mailing orders out, print a few portfolios, then drive up to Dallas. Trip mostly uneventful, except that driving a stick shift through Austin on IH-35 is a full isometric workout.

Got my badge, got my table, went to the first of two hotels and finished assembling portfolios; also condensed a few boxes down to make a bit more room in the car.

Friday morning brought a bit of a shock. A person who sold me unwanted H-manga and dojinshi in the past, but whom I haven't seen for between two to three years, showed up with what turned out to be $513 (my offer) worth of hentai. What's more, couldn't sell that in the artists' alley, er, Bizarre Bazaar- only stuff WLP -produces.- Thankfully, the A. V. Designs guys not only took a number of 'em for credit against the long-awaited Milkmaid model kit build, but agreed to offer 'em at their dealer's room table.

Had Randy Milholland stop by the WLP table a few times for very brief chats- quite cool.

Aside from Otaku Hell on Saturday and one game of SPANC on Sunday night, did very little me-time stuff. Sales were good enough that I succumbed to the art show for the first time in ages, eventually buying $85 worth of art. There were a couple of other high points- getting hugs from ichigo_babe is always a high point- but one in particular you'll have to wait until the film is developed before I talk about it.

Monday, packed out for the last time, helped Russ pack out Pegasus Publishing's stuff, then followed him up to Sherman to drop off van and stock. Russ drives me home, finally arriving in Segno about 1:30 AM.
