Mar. 31st, 2007 05:31 pmOK, just finished the last bit of paperwork for the quarter.
At first blush, it looks bad:
WLP SALES, 1Q 2007: $5,317.57
WLP EXPENSES, 1Q 2007: $6,208.58
But there are two factors in favor of WLP. One shows up on the balance sheet- over $1,000 paid out to artists, mostly payments on back royalties. The other won't show until next quarter- the roughly $2500 in invoices still outstanding on Bootleg #17.
Granted, other factors- particularly shipping costs for outbound orders, sales taxes, employment taxes, and withholding- will take away as well, but all in all, WLP is in significant danger of showing a profit for the first time in -ages.-
Happy 10th Anniversary to us.
(P. S. no, this isn't an April Fool.)
