(Hair) Coming Out Day
Oct. 11th, 2007 07:54 pmSince today (I heard) is Coming Out Day...
... I'm straight, I'm VERY straight... and to my shame, I'm a little bit homophobic.
Not just male gay sex, either- I'm not turned on by Lesbian sex, either. There's just some tiny button in my mind that hits "shudder" on such occasions. Granted, though, with Lesbians it's just distaste; with gay men, it's actual fear, fear with no rational cause, a fear that deserves to be left in the blinkered past where it belongs.
I try not to let this unconscious homophobia control my conscious actions, but it might explain why there's a relative paucity of F/F sex in WLP's material (compared to most other American porn). It's not something I'm proud of at all, and I would love to take a spoon and dig those brain cells out if I knew where they were, but that stupid, stupid fear exists.
Having shared that uncomfortable personal revealation to the world, I close with something a bit more lighthearted...

I swear, if I could put all the hair I'm digging out of this thing back on my head, I wouldn't blind people when I talked to them anymore...
