(1) Sorted out remaining comic stock from A-Kon, pulled damaged copies, restocked convention boxes for next show (likely San Japan in August)

(2) Caught up on a lot of bills

(3) Updated prices on the WLP Online Store, raising shirt prices, putting a lot of WLP comics on the discount/discontinued list, added new items, adjusted online inventory

(4) Sorted out consignments sold at A-Kon, sent reports to consignors

(5) Purchased two new narrow four-foot tables for con display purposes

(6) Blueprinted, purchased materials for, and assembled new behind-table display (similar to the old, except using 3/4" PVC instead of 1/2", permanently cementing certain joints together, and shoring up the ends of the banner display

(7) Made room in office/bedroom/warehouse for sixteen boxes of Bootleg #19, which arrived Wednesday

(8) Cleaned up (a bit) for the exterminator (who arrived Tuesday), revealing a lot of floor which hasn't been bare for a long time

(9) Put out art call for an ongoing WLP project and a new WLP project in the works

(10) Sent payment for a WLP project to artist

(11) Sent in waiting-list request for Anime Weekend Atlanta dealer's room; inquired, and was told to wait a bit, for AnimeFEST dealer's room

(12) Began work on fixing some pipes near the well in preparation for re-installing an outdoor faucet broken off Thanksgiving before last (that will be completed tomorrow, if parts are in hand)

(13) Saw Indian Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; it works if you think of it as a parody of previous Indy movies, and the final hour is worth the matinee/bargain admission at least

... and probably some other stuff too that I forgot. I had, strangely enough, a lot of energy Tuesday through Friday, but have felt rather lazy/depressed again since. I suspect the energy was leftover from a very successful convention.

Against Bush, introduced by Dennis Kucinich.

And, sadly, they're about par for Kucinich's pitch-and-putt course- a mixture of very good articles with articles his fellow Democrats won't dare approve... and a few articles that were just phenomenally bad ideas in the first place.

Don't get me wrong- I really want Bush impeached for a long list of crimes. It's just that Kucinich has done, well, a crappy job attempting to buck a Democratic leadership just waiting to inherit all that executive power Bush has amassed.

I'll be watching the votes tomorrow with interest, but not much hope.
