PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES:
Should a member of the Senate of the United States be absent from that body for a period of ten days or longer while that body is in session, or should a member of that body be absent for twenty or more consecutive votes, then the seat of that Senator shall be vacant, and the Senator shall be stripped of his or her office and all privileges thereof; further, any person removed from the Senate by this clause shall be permanently ineligible for appointment or election to that office.
(Or, in other words, play hooky, get expelled. What do y'all think?)
