Teeth Delayed. Dammit.
Sep. 2nd, 2008 09:07 pmGot back from AnimeFEST, after dropping off a volunteer helper in Baytown, almost on the stroke of midnight last night. I started email downloading and finally got to bed about 1 AM.
Was awakened at 8 AM by my dentist's office; over the weekend they'd decided to change my appointment from 1 PM Wednesday to 1 PM, er, today, which wasn't going to happen. (Especially since I've spent the entire day today with major joint and muscle pain, thank you very much NOT being able to catch up on sleep.)
Unfortunately the only other slot available all this month turns out to be September 15, bright and early 9 AM. That's a Monday... the Monday right after I get back from Protocon.
And no matter that Protocon will be a tiny gaming convention of only marginal profitability, I will be just as tired and stove up as I am today.
I'm recovering with the aid of Blockbuster.com, which delivered The Three Doctors while I was in Dallas. Tomorrow I finish unloading the truck- couldn't do much today, only the minimum I needed to get to the till and the credit card slips and TV set- and do a swift post-con inventory of WLP's shirt stocks.
Thursday's task will be to get www.wlpshirts.com up and running.
Much work ahead, but today was and still is a day of rest.
For WLP fans, Milkmaid and Chichi-chan update tomorrow.
