Sep. 7th, 2008 10:01 amEric, it's very good to see that you're posting to Websnark again.
It's even better to see a post about mad scientist music, though.
It's less good that, when I try to plug the Consortium of Genius, my favorite band of all time (and a mad scientist rock band at that), I find myself wholly unable to get a comment posted to the post in question.
I used to have the same problem before: log in, make a post, and then watch the page change format and watch you have to type everything in ALL OVER AGAIN, because WordPress is inherently broken. With patience and a couple of tricks, though, it was possible to make comments without resorting to the foulness that is Internet Explorer.
Not any longer, apparently. Try as I might, my attempts to comment fail repeatedly.
It'd be nice to make Websnark a regular read again, but it's an exercise in frustration to see a "Comment" link that I know won't work for me.
EDIT: And as soon as I hit "Post" on this, the comments thread in question refreshes, and I see the comment I was trying to make up... five times running. Oops. Never mind...
(why not delete this post? Because when I fuck up I believe in wearing the egg I've applied to my own face rather than pretending it was never there)
