One of my problems is, I don't develop habits or routine easily at all. This makes keeping up with my Wii exercises away from the Wii damn near impossible when I'm on the road- there's absolutely no motivation, nor is there a groove to slip into. When I do exercise, there's no set time for it, no consistent routine, no nothing.

And the past week, I've done barely any exercise at all- partly because of various pains, the most serious one being centered in my right hip joint with an echo behind the knee- probably hamstring. Unlike the shoulder injury (which has receded to a slight awkwardness and reduction in motion range, as if something is not quite aligned right), there's just no way to work around a pain that, after ten minutes of being on the feet and moving, builds up rapidly from nothing to severe.

And, because I've not exercised much at all in the past week, my legs cramp up when I try to push through the hip pain, and the combination is a wall.

I got below 226 earlier on Friday... and have gone above 228 since.

And day after tomorrow I leave for CoastCon, and between one thing and another likely won't have time for non-work exercise until the following Tuesday.

Maybe a bit of fasting is in order.
