LYAN: Cull Day, due to depression.

I just don't feel up to writing up all the stuff I've seen today.

And, quite honestly, haven't felt up to it for a week or so now.

But I couldn't let these all slip:

* Red Cross reports torture at Bagram base in Afghanistan- an AMERICAN base- and the UPI article implies that torture has CONTINUED there under Obama.

* Obama's Supreme Court nominee: a toady to the elites, who supports the imperial presidency.

* The Democratic Party drives out the woman who first challenged for Bart Stupak's House seat... in favor of an anti-abortion candidate. That's right, the Dems are backing a lifer.

* Medical marijuana dispensary in Montana fire-bombed.

* Iowan legislator (Republican, of course) wants to deny "family" status to same-sex couples with kids who use Iowa's state-run campgrounds.

I really hate being depressed.

A Republican PAC in Alabama accuses a GOP of supporting evolution.

That's right: if you want evolution taught in science class, obviously you're a pinko Commie socialist and need to be tarred, feathered, and run out of the state.

Thank you, Alabama, for making Texas (us with Don McLeroy and the nuts on our state school board) look good by comparison.
