A Note to Those I Follow on LJ...

(That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)
If my presence and comments on your LJ makes you uncomfortable, or if I'm acting like an asshole, tell me so. If you tell me to get lost, I'll get lost. Do it in private, do it in public, but please make it clear that you want me to stop reading your LJ.
I don't catch subtle hints- a lot of the time I don't even feel clue-by-fours. I don't always read comments. Keep it simple, keep it plain, and don't worry about my feelings or reputation. If I fucked up, then my feelings can stand being hurt and my reputation deserves a hit or two. If I just make you uncomfortable, that's cool- a lot of things in fandom and on LJ make -me- uncomfortable. I'll un-friend you and walk away if you will just give me the message, plain and simple.
And to thos whom I have offended in the past, I'm sorry; sometimes I'm an asshole. I realize this and I try to learn from past offenses. But if you don't tell me what I did wrong, I can't fix it- so don't be shy in telling me off.
