... SciFi Channel, you need to give me more reasons to watch you and fewer reasons to AVOID you.

Example: what the fuck does pro wrestling have to do with science fiction?

If you were showing Kaiju Big Battle, that'd be -something- at least, but ECW is NOT science fiction in any way, shape, or form.

I just did the same rant about ECW in another post I made. If this was some kind of live action version of that intergalactic wrestling cartoon (but done seriously, not crappy as the cartoon is), then I could understand it being on Sci-Fi channel. But standard wrestling, what the heck?? Right now I only watch Stargate SG-1 TNG (as I am refering to seasons 9-on), Eureka (which I am taping as I type this), and that may be it now. Most of my TV time is either DVDs or poker shows while I am eating (something I can turn on mid-show and not worry about watching until the end).

I actually see a connection here. You take ordinary people, give them an amazing chemical substance, and watch as they turn into muscular superheroes and supervillains!

Seriously, that could be interesting, sci-fi wrasslin'... guys in movie monster suits (more professional lokking, at least, than the Kaiju-style ones).

Thing is, wrasslin' is cheap. And... wait a minute.. isn't eh ECW defunct now? I thought they were absorbed into WWE.
