... at the North Austin Events Center, on N. Lamar Blvd. a few blocks north of Rundberg.

The facility is (part of) a former Garden Ridge big-box store. Parts of it still have the original paint.

Dealer's room (twenty booths only), artist's alley, gaming, panels, main programming (inc. rave dance and fashion show)- all in one big room. Not much, if any, security apparent.

And the general neighborhood, to be honest, has gone down quite a bit from my one year of college here nearly twenty years ago.

I hope some of you live here in Austin and come out to see me, because I suspected this weekend was going to suck rocks coming in to it, and thus far I've seen nothing to change my mind...
