Every time I read about the immediate, post-crash effects of repealing Glass-Steagal, I thank my lucky stars that my wife and I were too poor to buy a house even then.
Two reasons: to help raise the vote totals here and demonstrate that voting for a non-Republican isn't completely hopeless; and the other options are Trump, More Republicans Pretending They're Not, and an anti-vaxxer nut. Clinton is looking like the best of a lot of truly horrible options.
