Oh, update on my campaign...

Spent $300 on campaign signs and not quite $800 on radio ads. The signs are almost all up, and the ads have been running for the past week. That's about all the spending I plan to do, unless I decide to throw a victory party or something. (Personally I'd rather stay home.)

You tell us to vote Democrat, but Susan Combs is a Democrat...Party-wise, anyway....congenital liar and idiot by profession (akaLiberal)
That's one of the really serious problems today: the Parties are full of Extremists, and reasonable people trying to get elected are tarred by the same brush.
I wish you the absoulte best; but do take care, you're in dangerous company, and sometimes the Voters can't tell the honest folks from the idiots.
I oughta know...I live in Kalifornia (People's Very DEMOCRATic Republic of;)

Yes, I can. Under normal circumstances, the Texas legislature only meets for about five months every two years. It's very much a part-time job.
