This situation calls for careful judgment...

Among many other errands run today, I picked up a pistol I've been putting a little money towards here and there over the past couple years. (Now I need to get my CCL training, and then license- another $200+...)

I -was- going to practice fire the new gun behind the house today, but I think that would be a bad idea now... y'see, while my grandmother and I were in town, a storage tank on an oil well roughly 100 yards from our home went boom while two men were making repairs on it. The house is OK, but our neighbors, even scattered and few as they are, are all still jumpy...

... and the sheriff, fire department and ambulances only left about an hour ago.

Target practice can wait, I think...

AnimeFEST Pics (at long last)

Finally picked up my photos at Wal-Mart from AnimeFEST. (Disposable cameras suck, but they're all I can afford. If anyone wants to suggest a digital camera, let me know a good model and I'll add it to my Amazon wish list and let you buy it for me.)

Besides, it's not like artists need money to create- they'd create stuff anyway, whether or not they got paid for it! It's immoral to demand that I give up my freedom for your greed, man!
