redneckgaijinWind just surged to about 30-40 and is holding steady.
Power out across road. Still on here, for the moment.
EDIT: OK, now I know why 11 and 13 are forecasting higher winds; their wind-field maps include gust speeds. They're not limited to sustained winds. That means I can at least relax enough to take a nap. Alarm set for shortly after 2 AM- travel alarm, that is, so I'll be awakened even if/when the power is out. Later.
