Remember my rambling bit about how we might create our own reality from moment to moment?

We might even be creating our own past, our own history.

The logic in the article's too mind-bending for me to really grasp hold of... but it does, again, give me hope that there's an existence outside this one, and we're just mucking about here for whatever reason.

(20th-21st Century is Sim City; 5th-14th Century is WoW; or, alternately, we're all in the board-game version of Civilization. Keep the cat off the game table, please...)

What logic? The behavior of subatomic particles doesn't necessarily translate to macro-world similarities. A more prosaic example: when you open a connection between a hot room and a cold one, any given air molecule has the option of moving in any direction whatsoever. But because of physics and probability, somehow the result is always the same -- the temperatures equalize.

I can readily believe that the experiments happened as described. But the rest of the speculation is Creationism in a lab coat, with us substituting for God. Not. Buying. It.

God? US???

Well, we have already created artificial living things... Yeah, we have created life in the laboratory.
So, how does being THE CREATOR feel?

Makes me feel like I need another beer...

Alternate history in alternate Universes?

Hrm. The math holds up. The Physics work. Why not?
Postulating this universe as the only universe seems the ultimate in arrogance to me.
There could be other Universes threaded in and through our universe and we'd never know it with the methodology we've been using. We might just name them Dark Matter and then ignore them...
