*groan* Yeah, Dominionism is alive and well in Texas, and Perry is an opportunist who will grab hold of anything.
He plays really well in the South and terribly everywhere else, though. If you flirt with secession, you'll never go anywhere outside of Dixie. And I can't see him letting go of his ego and agreeing to be VP to someone who can draw the Midwest.
Takes talent to make me regret Barbour dropping out of the race, though. :-/
