I'm not silent, just divided.

For those who are wondering why, the past few months, I've been quieter and quieter here, I have NOT dropped off of either LiveJournal or DreamWidth. And, if I were forced to drop all social networks but one, I'd pick LJ to keep- it's the most flexible and the easiest to keep up with (when Tsar Vladmir Putin hasn't ordered yet another DDOS attack on it).
But LJ is apparently the flavor of the past, and the present is Twitter and Facebook. (And the future is likely Tumblr, but I haven't jumped on that wagon yet.) So, since I have to spend so damn much time keeping up with all these networks, I've divided my posts to use the parts of these services that are most functional.
For short opinions, comments, or alerts about my status of the moment, I use Twitter.
For sharing URLs individually for which I don't have much to say, I use Facebook.
When I have a lot to say, with a lot of different references to URLs or other things, I use LiveJournal/DreamHost.
Question: should I start cross-posting my Twitter, Facebook and LJ posts to each other (so far as that's possible)?

Date: 2011-12-20 12:35 pm (UTC)It's what I signed on at Twitter for. I'm not on FB but I am at Chrome (at the invitation of two family members or I wouldn't've bothered, since most of them aren't on Twitter or LJ), and I would crosspost to there if I were made aware of an automatic way to do it.
