The Supreme Court has just ruled, 5-4, that government can take your home and give it to someone else if it means that tax revenues will go up as a result.

The right of property has just been repealed.
You own nothing.
The government owns everything.
Oh, and the four dissenting justices? O'Connor writing for herself, Rhenquist, Thomas and Scalia.
All of whom I despise, for various reasons based on prior rulings.
Yet another example of why it's either time to vote for Libertarians, or form a new political party to take the Libertarians' place as the sole defender of individual freedom. Whichever you folks prefer, I'm not picky.
