1. How much is in your wallet right now?

$20.

2. How much money would you need in the bank to feel secure? Rich?

To be secure, enough banked or invested to yield a steady income in interests alone of $12,000 per year. At a conservative estimate, that would be at least $600,000.

To be rich, I'd say about three times that. (Yes, to me $3000/month net is rich. I've lived poor all my life. Deal.)

3. If someone gave you $100, no strings attached, what would you do with it?

Just this minute, apply it to the car wreck issues. Under normal circumstances, either ship out a round of 20 orders or make a printing run to Kinko's, then spend the change on food or books.

4. If someone gave you $1 Million, no strings attached, what would you do with it?

Set aside half for taxes (I spent three years paying the IRS for my lack of foresight with my Wheel of Fortune winnings); buy a new car, preferably a hybrid but something with significant carrying capacity; pay all my debts (about $5,000 credit card lapsed, about as much again WLP royalties); shop around for a large old house near either Houston or Austin, budget about $150,000; remainder rolled into WLP, mostly for showing at conventions.

5. How much does something have to cost before it starts counting as "real" money, as a purchase to be considered and evaluated, but below which you'll buy without really thinking about it?

Depends on the amount of cash I have in pocket at the time. Usually $1 for anything other than food; $5/meal for served, $2/meal for do-it-yourself or frozen food.
