More Worries

It's cold, but I'm not writing about that.
I need to be writing stuff, but my productivity is being eaten alive by Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday, but I'm not writing about that.
No, I'm writing because I've pulled a muscle in my upper left chest, connecting the armpit to about the bottom of the breast. The line from armpit down the left side to that point is very sore and tender to the touch. At present it's annoying, nothing more. I presume it happened while sleeping night before last, because I wasn't aware of it until yesterday, and most of the time even now I'm not much aware of it.
What makes me aware is that, about once every hour to two hours, the muscle has a momentary twinge of pain- slightly more painful than being stuck with a pin. When it hits, the center of the pain is beneath and slightly to the left of my left nipple...
... and the brevity and suddenness of the twinge gives me some concerns about my heart...
... even though, intellectually, I know it's unlikely. The pain is not a shooting pain, nor does it linger past the most momentary twinge. My arm doesn't hurt at all. My heart doesn't labor, I don't experience dizziness, etc. etc. etc.
But, considering I've put on ten pounds in the past month, it's something I really didn't need.
I may seek out a doctor (if I can find one that takes cash up here) next week and sink money I don't have into an exam, if this persists. Hopefully, though, it goes away instead.
In the meantime... damn, it's chilly in here.
