redneckgaijinKHOU-TV predicts full sustained hurricane-force winds for the entirety of Polk County- not just the southwestern corner.
National Weather Service still predicts maximum sustained winds at Livingston of 60 MPH, with gusts up to hurricane force.
Whichever version is correct, will be correct for at least twelve hours.
I'm considerably unhappy about riding out the storm here. I need to be here so long as my grandmother still harbors the intent to return here right after the storm clears, but if it were just me I'd be typing this from Texarkana or somewhere similar.
